As a moving company in Vienna we give you a fixed-price quote, including 20 % VAT. Not an hourly rate: whatever we manage faster, because we carry grand pianos every day, stays your advantage and not our invoice.

When we come and look
Up to 50 m² with a lift or on the ground floor, photos are enough. Above 50 m², above the second floor without a lift, with a kitchen to dismantle and rebuild, with an instrument, a safe, an aquarium, fitted furniture and with every business move, we come and look at the home, by video call if you prefer.
What keeps the fixed price
The price applies to what was visible at the viewing or in the photos. If there is more than ten per cent more on site, or something unannounced turns up, a piano, a safe, a cellar, an attic, we recalculate. And we do it before we start, not afterwards. The quote is valid for 14 days.
Date, waiting, payment
Cancellation up to 7 days before the date is free, from 7 days to 48 hours it is 30 %, below that 50 % of the quote. Moving the date once is free if a day is free. Waiting time we did not cause: 25 € for every 15 minutes started, an empty run 150 €. Private customers pay on site after the work, businesses by invoice, from 1.000 € with a 30 % deposit.

What does a move in Vienna cost?
You get a fixed price, not an hourly rate. A 3-room flat of 70 m² on the second floor with a lift, within Vienna, costs around 810 € with us including 20 % VAT. What moves the price is the amount, a floor without a lift, the carrying distance and the distance. Up to 50 m² photos are enough, above that we come and look at the home.
Do you take care of the parking permit zone?
Yes, we apply for the parking permit zone with the City of Vienna for you: 160 € for one address, 140 € for the second address in the same order, official fees included. What matters is the lead time, at least ten working days, otherwise we cannot guarantee the permit.
Do I get boxes and packing material?
Yes. Boxes cost 2,50 € to hire or 3,90 € to buy each, film, paper and tape by consumption. Blankets and straps are always included. If you would rather pack yourself, that works too.
Is my furniture insured during the transport?
Yes, the transport insurance is included in the fixed price. Please tell us about particularly valuable pieces beforehand, otherwise they are not covered. We do not transport money, documents, jewellery or medicines.
Do you dismantle and reassemble furniture?
Yes. We take apart beds, cupboards, shelves and tables and put them back together at the destination.
Do you dispose of old furniture?
Yes. Whatever is not coming with you, we take away and dispose of it properly. If a piano is not moving with you, we will buy it.
Do you also transport my piano or my grand piano?
Yes, that is our speciality. The instrument travels in the same move and is looked after by the same people. Two to three weeks after the move we tune it in its new place.
Do you store furniture between two homes?
We offer storage only for instruments, not for a whole household.
Do you also work in Lower Austria?
Yes. Vienna and Lower Austria are our area, with the Marchfeld, Gänserndorf, Deutsch-Wagram and the area around Vienna.
Can the fixed price still change on moving day?
Only if there is clearly more on site than discussed or something unannounced turns up, a piano, a safe, a full cellar. Then we recalculate and tell you before we start.
Do you work outside opening hours?
We work Monday to Friday. For business moves we start earlier or stay later on request so that your business keeps running; a start before 7am or after 6pm costs a 25 % surcharge. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays we do not drive.
