The town charter followed in 1922, the refinery was built between 1958 and 1961, and the airport shapes the east.
You can see these layers in the houses. Old buildings with deep passageways and narrow flights of stairs stand a few minutes away from housing estates that have a lift, but also a barrier and an underground garage with a limited clearance height.
